The counselling for admission to Under Graduate B.A.M.S. (National – SS & NRI) degree courses for the year 2024 will be done by CENTAC.
The candidate seeking admission must apply online through CENTAC website
(www.centacpuducherry.in) as per the schedule notified. Registration after the due date will not be entertained.
Admission is based on valid UG NEET – 2024 score and the candidate must have passed H.Sc. or its equivalent examination from any recognized board. Admission is based on the reservation criteria of Government of Puducherry

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
B.A.M.S.
(a) Candidates seeking admission for B.A.M.S. course must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have
obtained a minimum marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% of marks for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/OPH (General &OBC) and 40% of marks for SC/ST/BT&OPH.
(b) The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to10 +2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12
years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than core course of English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after the introduction of 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS :-
Candidates should ensure that they enter the ALL INDIA COUNSELLING RANK against the NEET RANK based on NEET 2024 Re-Revised Score Card published on 26.07.2024 while filling up the application.
Further, candidates claiming “Residence of Puducherry” are advised to upload the following renewed certificates dated on or after 01.07.2023, as applicable:
1. Residence Certificate
2. Community Certificate (Submission of Certificates obtained in format applicable to Central Educational Institutions will not be entertained).
3. Special Reservation (as applicable):
• Freedom Fighter (FF) issued by Freedom Fighter Cell
• Person with Disability (PwD) issued by Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services after physical examination Ex-Serviceman (ESM) issued by Department of Sainik Welfare
• Meritorious Sports Person (MSP)
4. Regional Reservation (Karaikal / Mahe/Yanam), as applicable.
5. Christian Minority Quota Certificate (T.C. / Community Certificate from Revenue Department / Certificate issued as per School records from the school last studied).
6. Telugu Minority Quota Certificate – (T.C./Certificate issued as per School records stating Mother Tongue as TELUGU from the school last studied).
7. Government School Quota – (Certificate issued by the school last studied and countersigned by the CEO / R.A. for continuous study in Government Schools from Stds.1 to 12).
8. EWS Quota- (Certificate issued by Revenue Department on or after 01.04.2024).
