 Karnataka Ayush Counselling 2023

Government in their letter No. HFW 124 RGU Bangalore, dated 28-06-2017, have directed KEA to conduct Common Counselling for admission to UG Medical and Dental courses for all Government, Private (Including Minority), NRI and Others seats in the State of Karnataka. As per MCI Medical Education Regulations, 2000 as amended from time to time and Government order No. HFW 320 RGU 2016, Bangalore dated 13-04-2017, and as per the decisions of the Entrance Test Committee, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is inviting applications online from the eligible candidates who have qualified in UGNEET 2023, for admission to Medical / Dental courses in Government Medical and Dental colleges, Government Quota seats in Private and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and all seats in Private Medical and Dental colleges (KPCF, KRLMPCA, AMPCK) located in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2023-24.

IMPORTANT RULES

Further, as per the letter dated 13-07-2023 of Karnataka AYUSH Department, the seat matrix for 85% of seats available for admission in Government and Government Aided Institutions (except 15% All India Quota) and in Private Institutions all seats (including State Quota, All India Quota and Management / NRI quota) available for UG courses in Private Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy Colleges of Karnataka state shall be allotted through KEA. UGNEET-2023 eligible candidates can also register online for Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy seats. However, non-Karnataka candidates are eligible only for the notified seats.

Non-Karnataka Candidates – Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Hence, in the UGNEET-2023 examination, if they have scored the required minimum 50th percentile or above, fixed for ‘GENERAL (UR)’ category as per the qualifying criteria, then only they are eligible to register for admissions through KEA or for any other seats in the State of Karnataka. Please note that SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only.

Non-Karnataka candidates those who have qualified in UGNEET 2023 and registered with KEA, need NOT appear for verification of documents.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION:

Original documents (along with attested photocopies of documents) required at the time of joining in allotted ASU& H College are as below:

i. Admit Cards of NEET Exam issued by NTA.

ii. NEET Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.

iii. Date of Birth Certificate (if 10th Standard Certificate does not bear the same)

iv. Class 10th Certificate

v. Class 10+2 Certificate

vi. Class 10+2 Marks Sheet

vii. Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form.

viii. Provisional Allotment Letter generated online from AACCC portal.

ix. Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving License/ Passport/ Voter ID )

x. Medical Fitness Certificate issued by Registered Medical Practitioner in

prescribed format as attached in Annexure-VI.

xi. The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:

a) Disability Certificate

b) SC/ST Certificate

c) OBC certificate

d) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate
