Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab, Hoshiarpur was created with the promulgation of the Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab Act, 2009 (Punjab Act No. 4 of 2010) by the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
This University is one of its own kinds in North India. At present the University has total 18 affiliated colleges viz 16 Ayurvedic, 2 Homoeopathy college. The P.G training in 3 M.D Ayurvedic and 1 Homoeopathic colleges in various departments are being imparted under the affiliation of this University . The University has started Ph.D in four departments of Ayurveda from the year 2020. It has about 6,000 registered students presently undergoing undergraduate. Postgraduate and Ph.D studies.

STEPS FOR ONLINE COUNSELLING
1. NEET-2023 qualified candidates shall visit University website i.e. www.graupunjab.org and fill the online registration form carefully within stipulated date & time. After successful registration of the applicant, a unique Registration ID (i.e. Login ID) and password will be allotted to the candidate at his/her registered Mobile No. or email through SMS or by email. Registration ID and password are mandatory for further process, so keep it secret and don’t disclose to any unknown person.
2. Registration Fee for State Quota Candidates is Rs. 4,600/- (Rs. 3750/- for SC candidates) and for All India Quota candidates is Rs. 2,000/-
3. The candidate has to deposit the requisite fee through Payment Gateway using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
4. Only registered candidates are eligible for the counselling(s) and without registration, none of candidates are allowed for the counselling (online/physical).
5. In the online application form candidate shall carefully fill the particulars viz; Name/Father Name/Preference of course / College/Category/Quota/NEET-2023 Marks, etc.
6. Candidates can fill their institutional preferences for getting their seats in the 1st round of counselling.
7. The seat will be allotted to the candidate as per merit list and institutional preferences filled by him/her in the online application form. The candidate has to report to his/her respective college for checking of eligibility, document verification and medical checkup. The candidates are required to produce his/her original documents/credentials for verification.
8. After the verification of the documents and checking of eligibility, candidate will deposit fee in the shape of demand draft of nationalized bank in the favour of Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University payable at Hoshiarpur.
