If you participated in the AACCC-UG Counseling for the academic year 2024-25 and are waiting for your security money refund, here’s an important update for you.

Refund Process and Update

The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), which is responsible for handling the financial aspects of the AACCC-UG Counseling 2024, has successfully processed refunds for 14,770 UG candidates. If you are among these candidates, you should check your bank account for the credited amount.

However, 32 candidates’ refunds are still pending due to incorrect bank details provided during the registration process. These candidates need to take action to correct their banking information to receive their security money refund.

Is the Security Money Refundable in All Cases?

No, the security money along with the registration fee shall be forfeited in the following conditions:

a) R-2 non-joined/joined candidates who avail exit with forfeiture. b) Candidates who do not join the allotted seat in the 3rd Round/Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I & SVR-II). c) Candidates who do not join the upgraded seat from Round-1 and Round-2 admitted seats. d) If a candidate provides incorrect information at the time of registration, leading to seat allotment that is later canceled by Admission Authorities during reporting. e) A non-upgraded candidate from Round-1 resigns from their joined seat after the announcement of the R-2 final result. f) Candidates resign their joined seat through offline mode after the completion of counseling. g) Non-compliance with the AACCC-UG Counseling Scheme 2024. h) Candidates withdraw from their admitted seats allotted through SVR-DU.

Norms for Forfeiture of Counseling Fee in AACCC-UG Counseling

If a candidate does not comply with the AACCC-UG Counseling Scheme 2024, the full counseling fee will be forfeited, irrespective of the category of seat (e.g., AIQ-Govt or Deemed University) allotted or the type of counseling selected through multiple registration attempts.

Examples of Forfeiture:

a) If a general category candidate selects ‘Govt/Govt. Aided’ as the counseling type during Round-1 registration and pays ₹21,000, but later in Round-2 selects ‘Deemed University’ by using the registration unlocking feature and pays ₹55,000, and then fails to comply with the counseling scheme, the full counseling fee of ₹76,000 will be forfeited.

b) If a GEN/EWS/OBC or SC/ST/PwD candidate selects ‘Govt/Govt. Aided/CU/NI’ as their counseling type and pays ₹21,000 (GEN/EWS/OBC) or ₹20,500 (SC/ST/PwD) and then does not comply with the AACCC-UG Counseling Scheme, their respective counseling fee will be forfeited.

c) If a GEN/EWS/OBC or SC/ST/PwD candidate selects ‘Deemed University’ as their counseling type and pays ₹55,000, but does not comply with the AACCC-UG Counseling Scheme, the entire ₹55,000 will be forfeited.
